This blood test evaluates how well your kidneys are filtering waste, balancing fluids, and maintaining essential electrolytes like sodium, potassium and chloride. It measures serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), uric acid, calcium, phosphorus and calculated eGFR, along with electrolyte levels to detect early kidney impairment, dehydration, acid-base disturbances or medication side-effects. Fasting is not mandatory; simply book a home sample collection, and receive physician-interpreted results the same evening.
